Saint Guel drops his first Single & B-side for this year entitled [Over And Over / For The Floor] under the Manila-based label and DJ collective — transit records. The inaugural transit records release marks the start of a stacked list of forthcoming musical projects lined up for 2020.

For this release, Saint Guel debuts a matured palette of sonics and a controlled yet masterful knowledge of Deep House music progressions. With [Over And Over / For The Floor], Saint Guel grows into his own by putting forward his distinctive and characteristic approach to production — timeless, melodic, and effortless. The highly anticipated two-tracker is reminiscent of his broad selection of influences ranging from early Chicago House to Soul and Disco.

A: Over and Over
The A-side, “Over and Over,” strings together hypnotic loops featuring jazzy horns and airy flutes. The track incorporates beautiful deep house synths and rhythmic bass lines. The record also features a catchy vocal-heavy Norwegian neo-soul sample that’s sure to get the dancefloor moving.

B: For the Floor
The second track, “For The Floor,” boasts a deep running house energy with slow-burning kicks, swingy hats, and snappy snares. The driving bassline and melodic vocals give the track its captivating and classic texture.
